About This Qualification
The VTCT Skills Level 4 Award in Laser and Light Treatments for Skin Rejuvenation
is an advanced vocational qualification designed to prepare learners to provide
intense light and laser treatments for photo-rejuvenation of the skin.
This qualification equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare for
and deliver laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments targeting various skin
imperfections including telangiectasia, spider naevi, blood spots, fine lines,
photo-ageing, uneven pigmentation, colour and texture concerns.
Treatments may be carried out on the face, neck, chest, hands and other areas of
the body with suitable lesions.
